Surveys for women dating wanna give
Why Is This Important?
Because you’re almost certainly getting sex wrong a lot of the time.
Long Story Short
A survey of 1,200 Women’s Health readers has revealed the five least popular sex positions for women. The bad news - they’re all common ones.
For men, pretty much every sex position will get the job done, but for women the whole thing is a hell of a lot more hit or miss.
1,200 women who read Women’s Health were asked by Men’s Health for the five sex positions that just don’t do it for them, and the list may challenge your self-declared love god status.
In fifth place was the 69, which isn’t a huge surprise because it’s a logistical nightmare at the best of times. Women stated that it was too impersonal and that it was hard to give and receive pleasure at the same time. But aren’t women supposed to be better at multitasking?
Worryingly for the traditionalists, the missionary position was in fourth because although it is more personal as there’s face to face contact it just doesn’t hit the right places.
Reverse cowgirl is unpopular, which may come as a relief to many men because the penis really isn’t meant to bend that way anyway.
“Reverse cowgirl may seem sexy and adventurous, but when you actually try to enter her, things might not fit the way you think they should,” Jen Landa, the author of The Sex Drive Solution for Women, told Men's Health.
Woman on top isn’t doing it for most women either. The reason is obvious enough — many women feel pretty self-conscious as centre of attention, however much the man is clearly enjoying the view. Maybe this one's a winner with the lights off?
The final offender is doggy style. Women find this ever-romantic position impersonal and also painful, as gracefully put by Sara Gottfriend M.D., the author of The Hormone Cure: “The issue here is you may be ramming her cervix, which is why deep penetration is often more harmful than hot.” Ouch.
Luckily the Men’s Health article proposes some small adjustments in your sexual playbook that should put these positions back on the menu. And, who knows, maybe it’s time you looked to expand your horizons a little as a recent study, reported by Cosmopolitan, stated that two-thirds of couples just try four positions on rotation.
